Chakras – What are they and how are our emotions connected to them?

Each chakra is linked to different emotional states from feelings of fear or anxiety to anger or jealousy. Learn how to work with the chakras to relieve mental and emotional stress. The morning yoga session will include movement, breath and meditation linking with each chakra. After lunch we will enjoy a long yoga nidra (deep relaxation) and a yin-style yoga practice of long holds to release deep-seated tension. When we slow the body we begin to notice any underlying emotions that may be present.
